Samantha Roady To Leave Gain Capital

Samantha Roady

Founding Partner Leaving Gain Capital

Gain Capital, a United States located online trading exchange, revealed that one of their founding partners is leaving the company next month. The person in question is Samantha Roady, who maintained the retail trading aspect of the brokerage’s business. The company noted that she is leaving her position to pursue further interests unrelated to the leveraging trading industry. Samantha departing the company is another blow to a company that’s faced significant hurdles recently.

The CEO of Gain Capital, Glen Stevens, will be taking on Samantha’s role after she’s departed from the company. However, it’s unknown if Stevens taking this position is long term or only until they can find a new executive to replace her.

Two Decade Long Career

Samantha Roady has spent a significant portion of her career with Gain Capital. She’s worked with the company for two decades, initially joining the firm back in 1999. She was initially the Senior Vice President of the Marketing Department. However, several years later, she was promoted to the Chief Marketing Officer. She held that position for several years before being promoted a third time to the Chief Commercial Officer in 2013. In 2016, she received her last promotion with the company and became the President of the Retail Trading Division.

Furthermore, she also assisted the United Kingdom office by being an executive director. She helped take the British Subsidiary to new heights, which inevitably allowed the company to operate in the City Index. It’s unknown as to what Samantha Roady will do with her position at MoneyLion, where she sits on the board of directors.
