Oanda Japan, fintech firm

Chasing Returns, a Dublin-established FinTech firm will be strengthening their partnership with Oanda. This announcement follows after Oanda confirmed the increased effort of this partnership, which will expand trading performance capabilities and utilize an extensive amount of behavioural science research. It should be noted that this collaborative effort comes after the two companies began a partnership in 2018. Oanda has used the risk management technology from Chasing Returns for two years, which extends to client-access with the Trading Performance Management Portal.

Chasing Returns utilizes a large-scale behavioural science wing as a Fintech firm. It’s one of the core reasons why the TPMP Platform is operated by multiple exchanges, with the management portal allowing for individual trading habits to be revealed. It’s enabled for exchanges like Oanda to advertise their products to the relative personal analytics of clients. The TPMP Platform also assist with behavioural biases, informing Oanda and other exchanges the products that clients refuse to engage. Details regarding product activity are released with quarterly reports regarding finances. Following the informative TPMP Platform, it isn’t surprising that Oanda would want to utilize higher levels of Chasing Returns behavioural science research.

This evolved partnership enables for clientele with Oanda to acquire advanced features from Chasing Returns. Those include the Gameplan Pro, which provides insight on your respective trading performances, and the psychological aspects to enhance those performances. This extends to the New Goal Service, which enables the capability to set trading targets. The final new feature coming is named Playmaker, allowing clients to monitor real-time risks and stop-loss levels.

There’s one additional product coming to consumers with Oanda. It’s called the Performance Statements Option, which will allow clients to access daily trading records and download financial statements for personal papers. This will include the Chasing Returns performance data, with additional information from Oanda.

The Public Remarks

The Chief Client Officer with Oanda, Mohsin Siddiqui, spoke on this increased partnership. He stated: “A FinTech firm at heart, OANDA has long been dedicated to providing clients with access to state-of-the-art trading tools that utilize cutting-edge technology to help them be more successful. As such, extending our ongoing relationship with Chasing Returns was an obvious choice, introducing new features and advanced functionality to our OANDA Trading Management Portal that add value to clients by showing how a better understanding of inherent individual trading biases can lead to improved discipline and portfolio profitability.”

The Oanda CCO continued his remarks with: “We look forward to further building on the foundations of our partnership with Chasing Returns in the coming years to continue to make more insightful risk management tools available to our clients.”

The Chief Executive Officer with Chasing Returns, Ann Hunt, followed up on these statements. She mentioned: “We’re delighted to have extended our relationship with OANDA, exploring new ways we can work together to help their clients succeed. Based on behavioural science, our tools have been specifically designed to provide deep insights into individual trading strategies, providing a clear line of sight over when each individual is most – and least – successful, enabling them to enjoy a more objective view that could help maximize success. We hope this will help create a competitive edge in the trading strategies of OANDA clients all over the world.”
