Google Bans 2.3 Billion Advertisements & 1 Million Accounts

On Friday, March 22nd Google announced that it has banned 2.3 Billion advertisements over the last twelve months. The tech giant also revealed that they removed one million spam accounts during the same period of time.

During their press release, Google also announced that 31 new policies in regards to their advertising services. Many of these policies have been laboured to the retail trading market. These policies restrict advertising companies to support crypto-currency, binary options, foreign exchange and binary contract. It also banned affiliates from being able to use CFD Brokers or FX Brokers.

Ways around This

There are still ways to avoid the new bans and policies put in place by Google. Avoid using an advertising firm and instead become a broken yourself. Yes, the rules are strict for brokers but things can still be easier. Firms will have also to have licenses from regulators and consequently, follow more regulations.

The rules put in place by Google for crypto-currency remains unclear. Regardless, tech companies have begun to feel the pinch of the tech giant and have had to avoid using Google’s services and opting out for platforms like Yahoo.

During the end of 2019, things will get better for brokers and firms alike. In October 2019 Google will allow for regulated exchanges in Japan for any online advertising service.

The Publisher Ban

Google on March 22nd, 2019 also revealed that it had removed over 320,000 publishers from the Google Publishing Network. They also blacklisted more than 700,000 mobile apps and 90,000 websites.

Google also revealed on the same date that they will be introducing a new self-help tool that will be released during April. The Google search engine will also be scanning all advertisements now by using machine learning technology.
