The second highest group of visitors came from Japan with only 6.1 visits, and the third highest came from South Korea at 5.7 Million. The United Kingdom and Russia almost tied, with both countries having citizens visit exchanges on average 3.8 to 3.1 million times respectively.

Cryptocurrency trading increased worldwide during the time of this investigation, which could have lead to false results. This surge is the result of Bitcoin rising in price during April. However, the results of the report on India could be, and those visits might not be authentic crypto exchanges. There have been numerous bans on exchange financing in India throughout 2018 and 2019.

DataLight summarized in their report in a simple statement: “Perhaps the most obvious and remarkable feature from the info graphic is simply how much of the world is actually trading in cryptoassets: nearly every country on the globe is seeing some trading traffic, with the exception of Greenland and parts of central Africa.”
