ATFX’s New Institutional Trading Desk
AT Global Markets, formally known as “ATFX”, has announced a new institutional trading desk to clients. The contracts-for-difference broker is rated as the 2018 UK Best Broker of the Year, which has caused many traders to be excited about the new platform. This trading desk is called “ATFX Connect” and is targeted primarily for professional clients. This service was built in correlation with technology developed by CelerTech and will provide a series of new features for CFD trading in the blockchain space.
The Head of Operations for ATFX Connect, Matt Porter, stated: “We feel that with the current market challenges occurring in the retail arena that this is a good time to expand our offering to Institutional clients and to that end we have been developing ATFX Connect. We now have a platform that will enable clients to have access to bespoke liquidity dependant on their needs, whether they need early trading on Sunday, to smaller ticket sizes we believe we will be able to cater for all needs, and this is just the start as we continue to develop the product to meet the growing needs of our clients now, and in the future.”

Porter’s firm is the latest in a series of brokers that have developed an offering tailored to professional clients. This comes after countless traders have expressed to brokers in the European Union to offer more professional services. Additional exchanges that have followed this method include InterTrader, CMC Markets and ValuTrades. All these platforms are gears towards sophisticated clients that require more out of these brokers.
